University of South Florida
Associate Professor
Tampa, Florida
Hello,

I am an associate professor from University of South Florida in Instructional Technology. One of my research projects is to integrate eBooks and computer games to increase young people's motivation to read and to increase their comprehension. Really I want to create a whole new medium that uses the imagination of reading, but has the re-activeness of computer games. See http://imapbook.com/ I play tenor saxophone in a band. I have spent a lot of time in Europe (Netherlands, Croatia, Greece, France, .. ). I love walking in old cities, jazz, rock and classical music, drinking quality beer and talking about ideas, hiking in beautiful places and skiing.

I love creating new things, listening to music, playing the saxophone, traveling & talking to people. I have lived and traveled extensively in Europe.

I love to read, talk about ideas with people, invent new electronic media, drink high quality beer, play the saxophone, and walk in cities.

I am a professor. My research group is producing science fiction novel for 6th graders to learn science, a web-based eBook with computer games to support the story and the science.
