Kurt Griesemer has been involved in education for over 20 years, teaching in public and private schools, creating classroom media for television and the web, and currently as the Coordinator of Primary Education at the Wisconsin Historical Society. Kurt has produced several video series for the classroom, including democracy it is! (2007), Engage: State-Tribal-Local Government (2008), Global Wisconsin (2010) and the Emmy-winning series Wisconsin Biographies(2012). Web publications include media for the above series, Wisconsin: Our State, Our Story (2013) and Patty Loew’s Native People of Wisconsin (2014). Print publications include education supplements for Patty Loew’s Indian Nations of Wisconsin(2014) and Wisconsin Public Television’s Vel Phillips: Dream Big Dreams (2016). Kurt is far too excited to tell everyone about his latest project: Wisconsin Adventures: Myths & Legends, a fantasy roleplaying module with educational overtones based on historic faces and places in Wisconsin.
